Event on 14th May: Either Carrock Fell Complex or Mungrisdale & Mosedale
Starting 10:30 at Mosedale Bridge.
A fair weather higher altitude event, and the poor weather lower altitude alternative.
The Carrock Fell trip will involve up to 5km walking and a steep ascent of c.450m over rough fellside examining the igneous geology of the complex. Leader: Alan Wise
The Mungrisdale/Mosedale trip will be a low level alternative examining Skiddaw rocks and the Skiddaw Granite aureole with short sections over rough terrain; distance c. 5km. Leader: Fiona Harwood
