DESCRIPTION:Leader: Dave Kelly\n\nDavid Kelly has been keeping an eye on th
 e new cutting on the A595 at Grizebeck. The cutting is in the Poolscar For
 mation of the Coniston Group in the Windermere Supergroup. He has not been
  able to make a preliminary visit but the BGS mapping shows inverted strat
 a in the area.\n\nThere is an opportunity to examine the Windermere Superg
 roup rocks in the cutting on Wednesday 10 June\, before the new road is op
 en to traffic.\n\nThe contractor (Story) requires participants to bring ha
