DESCRIPTION:\nMembers’ Evening will be held by Zoom on Wednesday 9th Dece
 mber at 7.30 pm\n\n\n\nWe hope the evening will replicate the usual social
  occasion as much as possible so do feel free to come with (Mervyn’s) gi
 nger cake or similar and appropriate drink.\n\nWe will begin with a few no
 tices followed by a presentation by Sylvia Woodhead There will then be a b
 reak to enable members to refill their glasses and have some informal chat
 . The final event of the evening will be a presentation by Chris Wilson. W
 e anticipate finishing by 9pn.\n\nThis meeting will be open to members onl
 y. Information on how to join will be emailed to members.\n\nOur members e
 vening will be on 9 December 2020 via Zoom\, a popular software platform
  for online meetings and conferences\, it is simple to use and you can par
 ticipate without having to set up any account and from various devices suc
 h as lap tops\, iPads\, tablets\, mobile phones.\nIf you would like to ‘
 attend’ but find the idea daunting and would like some help or have ques
 tions about accessing the meeting please let us know and someone will be i
 n touch. If required we can set up a ‘practise’ meeting for you to iro
 n out any problems before the night.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are providing some 
 lectures via Zoom. Here you may request meeting links and passwords for sp
 ecific events if you have not already received details via the members new
 sletter. This form will be sent to our events co-ordinator who will proces
