The rendezvous is at Balcreuchan Port on the seaward side of the A77 (NX 100 876) in a large lay-by high above the beach, south of Lendalfoot and north of Ballantrae, at 0930 on Saturday 29 June for a briefing, then decide on car sharing (4 or 5, depending on the number of seats available) before heading to the first locality at Downan Point (Scavoch Rock in the GCR volume), to examine the well-exposed pillow lavas.
